COSMOLITE® is New Material
Its composition consists entirely of pre-consumer recycled “quartz-free” minerals, in line with an innovative and increasingly sustainable production philosophy, ensuring visual impact and perfect workability, as well as high hygienic standards. Available in five different collections, these slabs are ideal for all surfaces that emphasize uniqueness and environmental sensitivity as their stylistic signature.
Grain 2.0 is a mechanical finish applied to the Cosmolite® product, achieved using diamond brushes. The action of the brushes on minerals of varying hardness can create indentations on the surface in varying quantities, depths, and sizes. These characteristics are distinctive of the product and do not represent a defect.

Cleaning COSMOLITE® Countertops
Post-Installation Cleaning
During installation, special care must be taken when applying silicone in the sealing areas to avoid soiling the countertop or backsplash. It is recommended to outline the sealing area with masking tape. For installation operations, it is advised to use only neutral silicone. Residual silicone should be removed with plastic scrapers or suitable products for fresh silicone removal. Once the installation is complete, conduct a thorough cleaning of the countertop by washing the surface with an acidic pH cleaner, allowing it to sit for a couple of minutes, and then rinsing with clean water. Finally, dry with a clean cloth to assess the effectiveness of the operation.
Routine Maintenance
For the routine cleaning of Cosmolite® surfaces, use a damp cloth or a soft sponge, and, if necessary, a small amount of neutral or slightly acidic pH cleaner. Apply the product directly to the surface, allowing it to act for a few seconds, then rinse with a sponge and clean water, and dry thoroughly.
Removing Stubborn Stains and Extraordinary Maintenance
Cosmolite® countertops have excellent stain resistance against most common household products. However, removing certain types of stains may require more intensive cleaning, especially if not addressed promptly. In such cases, clean the countertop by applying an acidic pH cleaner: allow it to sit for a couple of minutes, then gently scrub with the rough side of a Scotch-Brite sponge or a melamine magic sponge. Rinse with clean water and dry with a clean cloth to evaluate the effect of the operation.
What to Avoid
Although Cosmolite® has greater heat resistance than quartz, it is advisable to use trivets. Regarding scratch resistance: despite having greater resistance than quartz, it is recommended to use a cutting board (the pressure variable exerted by the user on the knife and therefore on the countertop is something that cannot be quantified; tests are conducted under normal pressure conditions).
